FSM Monthly Blaze – August 2017

The debut of the Florida Podcast Network this month was the culmination of a lot of brainstorming, consulting with my mentor, and training myself to think VERY big. In deciding to cultivate a podcasting hub “celebrating all things Florida,” I aim to tap into our various levels of diversity.

The new Network offers local brands the opportunity to attract business and tourism to our great State by showcasing all that is unique about Florida–from the salt life to the swamp life and from its swing state status to its “Flori-duh” reputation. These brands can develop high quality podcasts through my company’s production and consultative services–making the dive super easy.

Previously, the pre-launch phase of the Network opened up submissions of Florida-based podcasts to the Directory, and I couldn’t have been happier with how many podcasters listed their shows! My hope is that the Directory listing and corresponding pin map encourage listeners searching for new podcasts to first consider what’s in their own backyard.
