She has grown her business producing podcasts and managing podcast networks. She first founded her business, Flint Stone Media, as a digital marketing firm before discovering podcasting in 2014 and launching her first show, Curve the Cube. She began working as a Production Coordinator for the Horse Radio Network in the summer of 2017, eventually working her way up to being their Production Manager. During this time, she honed her podcasting skills and began helping other independent podcasters launch shows, focusing Flint Stone Media to be a podcast production house and winning the 2017 “In Yo Face” podcasting award.
She spent the following years honing her podcasting expertise and founded the Florida Podcast Network in August 2017. A Floridian since 1982, creating a network centered around her home state was a natural fit. She then began growing her FPN vision into a reality, by helping local brands and businesses get into the space and propel Florida’s entrepreneurial prosperity forward through the power of podcasting! Horse Radio Network founder, Glenn “the Geek” Hebert, now travels around the State with Jaime as cohost for FPN’s flagship show, Finding Florida, and they also host Florida Podcasting News. Most recently, she launched People of Florida as her first solo show in over two years!
Since then, Jaime has also been the organizer of the Palm Beach Podcasters MeetUp group and the Director of The Wedding Biz Network. Most recently, Jaime earned the privilege of not only being the first Podcasting Instructor for the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, but also has been the recipient of various awards, including Podfest‘s 2020 High Achiever Award and a 2022 Gold Crushie from the Craft Beer Marketing Awards for Florida Beer Podcast. And, she was also featured in Podcast Magazine’s “40 Over 40 in Podcasing” List for 2022.
Like most Floridians, though Jaime wasn’t BORN in the Sunshine State, she proudly claims it. After first living in Miami for a couple of years, her family moved north to Boca Raton, where she grew up. They planted roots there and witnessed the town develop around them.
Jaime attended Pine Crest Schools in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale and then studied business at Tulane University (B.S. in Information Systems Management and Finance, minor in Psychology) and law at the University of Virginia.
PRODUCER JAIME’S NEWS
But, wait… There’s more!
Hello, I’m Andy Kushner, host of the leading wedding and events podcast, The Wedding Biz. And I have been so fortunate to have partnered with Jaime Legagneur and her company, Flint Stone Media, to grow The Wedding Biz from a solo show into a full podcast network. Since May 2019 (even through this pandemic), Jaime has been by my side in the sales process–helping to solidify the sale with each new host and then guiding them through her well-established show development process thereafter.
And Jaime really pulled every corner of her talent into this endeavor for me–applying not only her podcasting acumen, but so much more. She also applied her business education from Tulane University to put together my strategy plan, framework, and supporting documentation. Furthermore, Jaime used her legal knowledge from the Law School at the University of Virginia to manage my hosts’ contracts–frequently also acting as the liaison with my legal counsel.
Plus, she utilized her vast experience as a web designer and developer to both build the website for The Wedding Biz Network and redesign the website for my podcast, The Wedding Biz, increasing discoverability for the flagship show.
I was fortunate to find such an array of skills in just one person.
Above all else, Jaime has demonstrated unbounded dedication and an authentic enthusiasm for my success. AND her entire Flint Stone Media team has made wonderful contributions to the effort by supporting the production of shows for Sean Low, Rachel Birthistle, and Preston Bailey from launch through episode recording, editing, post-production, and distribution. I simply could not have built this network without them, and I can’t wait to see how far TWBN goes with their continued support!
